BE A FISH BAIT — Controls & Keybinds
Updated July 2026
PC Keyboard and Mouse
BE A FISH BAIT on PC uses standard Roblox movement plus fishing-specific actions. WASD moves your character. Mouse look rotates the camera. Left click or a dedicated key initiates cast when standing at a fishing spot — you launch as bait into the water. During the reel minigame, click or tap the prompted key in rhythm to maintain tension without snapping the line.
Inventory, rod equip, and bait selection live in the Roblox backpack or custom hotbar on the HUD. The Store button opens the shop and Code tab for redemption. After Aura Maxxing, aura management and daily rewards icons joined the toolbar — hover tooltips document each if you are on PC.
Escape or the Roblox menu key opens system settings. Rebind through Roblox client settings if defaults feel awkward; the experience respects Roblox-level remaps but not always per-game overrides.
- WASD — Move character
- Mouse — Camera look
- Left Click / E — Cast and reel interactions
- B or Backpack Icon — Inventory and rod equip
- Store Button — Shop, codes, and purchases
- Aura / Daily Icons — Post-Aura Maxxing menus
Fishing Minigame Inputs
The reel phase may use click spam, timed presses, or a tension bar depending on fish rarity. Higher-tier fish demand more inputs per catch — reel speed auras reduce required actions. Practice on common species before chasing rares in deep zones.
Missing inputs loses the fish but rarely consumes bait permanently. Retry immediately unless zone competition for spots matters in your server.
Menus and Codes on PC
Redeem codes via Store → Code tab → type string → Claim. Keyboard paste works in the code field. PC is the fastest platform for bulk redeeming all eight active codes in one session.
Wheel spins and rerolls open from inventory or dedicated HUD buttons added in Aura Maxxing. Read popup stat lines before confirming rerolls — misclicks waste 2500CCU rerolls.
Other Platforms
Mobile players should read the mobile controls page for touch HUD layout. Console players should read the console controls page for gamepad mappings after the HUD refresh. Core loop is identical; only input layers differ.
