Getting Started

New players should start with how to play, then redeem SHARDS and take the free first charm roll on every unlocked tier before the first serious fishing session. The core loop is simple — cast yourself as bait, catch fish, sell or aquarium them, upgrade rods and weights, train Power, and rebirth when your cast range plateaus.

Later patches stacked more systems on that loop. Aura Maxxing added dailies and VIP 1.5x. Charms added a five-tier Money roll board. Sci-Fi raised Rebirth to 11 and opened a new zone. Treat all of them as live layers, not replacements.

Auras, Wheel, and Codes

Auras remain a high-leverage buff layer. Older wheel-spin codes such as 4000LIKES and 500LIKES have expired; SHARDS now grants Legendary Shards instead. VIP training at 1.5x speed still accelerates aura progression. Pair aura rerolls with charm rolls rather than treating them as the same currency.

Mutations, Extinct Zones, and Gear

Aquarium passive income funds everything past mid-game. The Delulu update standardized eight mutation tiers — Radioactive at 8x is the current best single mutation. Rod upgrades unlock extinct-rarity waters where boss fish and Champion mutations appear.
